Villarreal and Sevilla are drunk with the Cup

Admittedly this 2010/2011 edition of the Copa del Rey is still fascinating. For once, all the top teams in the league have taken this competition seriously, and this has resulted in elimination matches powerful and vibrant. However, I still think the format is not adequate, and would be more exciting with Cup qualifiers in a single match, or at least to stop having double the value of away goals.

On Wednesday, Villarreal and Sevilla delighted us with an exciting game full of good football and all goals. Despite being one leg, both teams took off their ties and sought the goals. The final result of 3-3 is a clear proof of the show lived, and even gives a significant advantage over Sevilla, the tie will be decided at the Sanchez Pizjuan.

And yet, the benefits have reached Villarreal 2-0 and 3-1, but his performance has some similarities with last Sunday at the Santiago Bernabeu . Good first half with good play and seeing door by Cani and Rossi, but considerable downturn in the second before a cringe away from Sevilla for the disadvantage, never broke down and confident in their chances ended tying a meeting that he had an uphill struggle.

The greatest strength we should acknowledge a brilliant Romaric, who led the attack Sevilla with a huge class, and left his seal of approval by signing three assists for his team: two for Negredo, great game, and also the one for vallecano Alexis on the final leg, after Kanoute delicatessen. Three assists to show that, despite its shortcomings, in Romaric is a great player when centered.

The third of what Villarreal Marco Ruben scored again, taking advantage of the visitors' defense wimp (the worst of Sevilla yesterday once more.) Great merit of the young Argentine striker, who had a complicated ballot to replace Nilmar while it recovers from his injury, and within what it is doing wonderfully well. In the last four games, has scored three goals.
