Despite what you're thinking, this question is motivated by the great performance by Raul at Athletic Club on Thursday night. Raul makes a good game and sign two goals should not surprise anyone. The reason for that question and yes it is most striking are the statements about Pep Guardiola in his press conference yesterday morning:
"Raul is the most important Spanish player of all time. What he has done in his career is impressive. For me it was the best. The first goal has done 500 times and the second was a goal. It is an example for all who start "
I think it gives the subject special merit that tell someone that trains every day players like Xavi or Iniesta. And so I think a debate which, although it is something trite, it is always interesting:
Who is for you the best Spanish player of all time?
We do not want to establish "scientifically" who has been the best, but simply to probe the tastes and opinions of our readers. Who do you think is or was the best? Why? Do you think Guardiola exaggeration to point out to Raul or is he right? We want your views in our section of Soccer Notes Responses .
