Iker Casillas was voted best goalkeeper of 2010

For the third time the captain of Real Madrid and the Spanish Iker Casillas was chosen as the best goalkeeper in the world by the International Federation of Football Statistics IFFHS who only yesterday announced that the Portuguese Mourinho Madrid coach also is the best club coach 2010.


Casillas has been a wonderful year, on July 11, won the World Cup title won by the red for the first time in history, having precisely the Casillas as the driver and key to achieving the long-awaited triumph.


In the first place ranking is the Spanish goalkeeper with 304 points so abysmal outpacing the second place occupied by the Brazilian goalkeeper Julio Cesar Milan Inter. The top 19 of the best goalkeepers in 2010 is comprised of 12 European goalkeepers, 3 American, 2 African, 1 American and 1 representative from Oceania.

It should be noted that among the 12 Europeans are at 4 Spanish and 2 Dutch, in addition to 7 of them are appearing for the first time in the IFFHS list. Following is the list of the best goalkeepers in the 201:
