FC Barcelona - Real Madrid CF: The two teams, to review (goalkeeper, defense and midfield)

valdés and boxes

It is really difficult to find a match in the modern game that brings together a cast of players like that we will meet on Monday at the Camp Nou, both in terms of individual figures and to find some of the best footballers currently at each one of the posts. In this post I will try to analyze the two onces of each team and, though comparisons are always odious, we will review post by post to the usual equipment and Mourinho Guardiola point every weekend on their slates.

For the classic Monday there is in principle sensitive low, is expected to reach Khedira Higuain and time-on either side and both teams have a once recognizable, making the comparison in this regard seems acceptable but sometimes last-minute surprises as the inclusion of Alves at the end at the last classic in the Bernabeu. The problem is that each computer uses a different game plan in the middle of the field: while Guardiola is committed to a defensive midfielder and two inside, Mourinho believes in the double pivot and a midfielder who plays behind the front, besides the fact that each team has a different doctrine.

There remains little doubt that Mourinho chooses to change the system and introduce a Lass by Özil, but in this post we will examine both teams based on the onces that are most used in valuing the beginning of this campaign is not who is better, but who's better. Surely you all have an opinion about who is better here or there, and we are happy that share with us. Here is mine:

Casillas vs Valdés (1-X-2)

First we should underline that each team hardly change at this time the goalkeeper for another goalkeeper. Both offer safety and soundness in sets where the times when the goalkeeper has to intervene are counted. A Casillas has changed his life: to be in a Real Madrid where he constantly had to be shown on your computer, is now in a club where the chances against it are few and where the concentration has to save for when their partners require their good work. After a difficult year, Iker regained its senses in South Africa and again the it was, only that intervening less.

The evolution has been continuous Valdes in the Barcelona's Guardiola. That irregular goalkeeper has been replaced by a goalkeeper with tables and enough cold blood, which previously lacked, to seize a goal as difficult as the Camp Nou. Valdés Last year was the best goalie in the league, but if both are in a good time, perhaps no goalkeeper now to cope with the de Móstoles.

Alves vs. Sergio Ramos (1-X-2)

Let me be clear: there is a right side in the football scene I can do shadow Dani Alves is Brazilian and not play well in Madrid, but at Inter. The importance of the right side at FC Barcelona is vital, a rail to that Alves has no secrets in the issues involved in offensive and which meets regularly in defensive duties. It always goes up and yet rarely neglects his main task to be a defense.

Sergio Ramos is as good as unpredictable. So does a great season and reached the Euro which plays a discrete role, as has a bad season and makes a sublime World. If you concentrate and forget to emulate Garrincha is the best in his position, but the defensive forgetfulness sometimes weigh down their good general.

Abidal vs Marcelo (1-X-2)

Abidal is the left-handed starter in the Barca side, and although his injury is recent, it seems as a starter in the classic view. The French side left doubts on arrival at the Nou Camp but his performance has grown steadily to stop being a weak left flank in Barcelona. Insurance defense, incorporates much less than their skilled counterparts but still ever encouraged to join the attack.

And if Abidal has grown, what of Marcelo in recent months. Nor was it the left side the position well covered in Madrid and not just clamoring to strengthen that area, but relied on the Brazilian and has not disappointed. Continues to stand out in paragraph offensive, but it does not clash as much, or lose faceted defensive position so facilidd . Its evolution places him as the best left side in the league this season start.

Pique / Puyol vs Pepe / Carvalho (1 - X -2)

It has always seemed more feasible to compare the two plants one by one. Still, difficult. Four of the best centers of the moment will be on the lawn at Camp Nou. The two dance partners are different yet equal. Both are complemented by the various solutions offered. In the case of Barcelona also has an added function: releasing the ball from the responsible approach being Piqué usual, possibly the best of the four.

Carvalho has surprised all and sundry with their exceptional performance and Puyol is still not out of tune even though the years keep passing. Pepe is perhaps the weakest link because their time is not the best since his arrival at the Bernabeu. Carvalho still form the core duo's best defense of the championship. The X is my result.

Busquets vs Khedira (1 - X -2)

We went into the wide area less attractive to the position of midfield onwards, but also one of the most important. Busquets has been consolidated as the bodyguard of creative midfield winning the game Barca players like Toure and Mascherano. Something will have the kid. His greatest strength is the tactical, to sweep, to cut and deliver, but also contributes on offense when needed.

Khedira has been one of the pleasant surprises in Madrid. It is not unusual to see Mourinho, who gives compliments, praising the work of German post-game. The former Stuttgart has earned a permanent position in the starting team and improves as more and know better the Spanish league. Their work and their vital importance is similar for their respective teams, which draw seems the most feasible option.

Vs Xavi Xabi Alonso (1-X-2)

Not share the same situation in the grass: as a central circle made of natural habitat in both defensive and offensive tasks, Barcelona is about everything that can rival the area to try to see the gaps that many can not intuit. However, both are responsible for moving the wireless game of their teams.

Difficult to have made it one of the best means of European football. Xabi Alonso is the player that every team would be: work, he argues, starts, has discretion in a long pass and a great shot. But Xavi is a different player, and his own is unmatched. Without him, Barcelona and Barcelona are less selection and selection. The flag of a style.

Iniesta vs Özil (1-X-2)

In this case the comparison is fair because they both love to come to the area as much as possible. However they are different players, Iniesta likes to combine and display. German is more electric, like address, Dodge and find the goal, the greatest handicap of Fuentealbilla despite its historic goal against the Netherlands and Chelsea. However, both share an unusual quality and a feature: if they appear, the team improves.

You could say that Iniesta is midfielder and attacking midfielder or second striker Özil, but both move on similar paths. Iniesta is not as regular as Xavi, but more than the German, as intermittent as crucial in their appearances. Özil is still much room for improvement, but not what has already proven Iniesta.

So far the review of the goal, defense and midfield. In the next post we'll take a look at the front with special attention to the single most important match of this game not only football but now the Messi against Cristiano Ronaldo. Also explore the depth of each team's bench and will draw some conclusions set out above.
