FC Barcelona - Real Madrid CF: Remembering the last duels in the Nou Camp

camp-nou.jpg

I'm not the only one who thinks this FC Barcelona-Real Madrid turns out to be, a priori, the most interesting of recent years. And not because the past is not lifted expectations, but because in this we have found several factors that make the classic Spanish football in one of the best sporting events can be seen today. The big moment for both teams, the presence of the two best players on the planet, the importance of mourning for the passing league, the Mourinho factor ...

But continuing with the Football Special Notes and to enliven the long wait until Monday, we will recover one of our typical posts. Let us briefly recall how they were the last derby played in the Nou Camp.

2009/2010 season (1-0)

The Real Madrid of Pellegrini arrived at Camp Nou as a leader. With some fantastic numbers, but not too convincing in their game. With Cristiano Ronaldo in cotton arriving several weeks after injury. The match proved to be very equal, but was finally balance with a goal from Ibrahimovic .

Although the case of Real Madrid defeat can never be sweet, Pellegrini showed that they were far more equipment than some expected. The whole 'merengue' learned to stand up to Guardiola, demonstrating that although they were not yet at its height, the gap had been cut significantly.

Real came out with very clear ideas, closing out the spaces and drawing Barca who was at the counter. Kaká was probably his best game so far for the club, and both Victor Valdes and Puyol were built as large culé heroes set.

2008/2009 season (2-0)

That Real Madrid was a much weaker team than the next year or the current one. Bernd Schuster had just been fired after hinting that they had nothing to do at the Camp Nou. It was thought by many, but he said it himself coach of the target is a lack of respect for his shield. In its place came a Juande Ramos, through the "other football", he tried to leave the Camp Nou with his head high.

It was also the debut of Palanca, a player who did quite well but gives one to think that Juande only made him to play to the gallery, taking into account that he had little throughout the season . It was also the derby in which the Madrid tried to stop Messi to play hard and through several players, not loaded with yellow. Derby was the famous occasion of Drenthe, mano a mano with Valdes scoreless on the scoreboard.

But ended up being the derby in which the team won was significantly higher. Barça six titles at a Madrid that little could be done to defend. However, he did well and was about to endure 90 minutes. Even you Casillas saved a penalty to Eto'o. But the end result of 2-0 with goals from own delanteocmrnsyLoMsi />

2007/2008 season (0-1)

In the duel of the season pulled the Madrid office to achieve that remains his last victory at the Nou Camp. Bernd Schuster's approach was the best weapon against Barca a Frank Rijkaard who gave their last legs. The set culé before a tainted environment, needed urgent renovation that would end the season with Guardiola's arrival and departure of people who had already completed a cycle, like Ronaldinho and Deco.

Madrid gave a recital that defensive, with Pepe and Cannavaro spectacular, while the club could not find his game. Uncomfortable in the touch and no dynamite on top of other seasons. Ronaldinho was downhill, and Messi was low. Thus, the Madrid achieved a major victory with a goal by Julio Baptista , taking advantage of the contras.

2006/2007 season (3-3)

The derby of the season was probably the most beautiful and exciting of recent years . Final result of 3-3, in a match that Real went ahead in the scoring on three occasions, two goals from Van Nistelrooy and Sergio Ramos one - and drew three times a spectacular Leo Messi.

Both teams had just been eliminated from the Champions League, and faced the classic as a chance to recover. Capello's Madrid gave a great image, and had at the Camp Nou the turning point for a comeback that would end up being worth a league that seemed impossible to leave Catalonia.
