Finally, there Liga this weekend. Professional Footballers Association and Football League have reached an agreement in negotiations on a new collective agreement, which unlocks the strike two weeks ago by the union of football players for which was not played the first day of La Liga and Liga Adelante scheduled for last weekend.

After many endless negotiating sessions, yesterday was presented as the final attempt to reach a common point in time to celebrate the second day of competition, which, as expected, will start Saturday for First and Friday for seconds. After finishing the wee hours of the morning, AFP and LFP were cited for this morning with the intention of ending to shape an agreement presented today at a joint press conference the top leaders of each party, Luis Rubiales (AFE) and Jose Luis Astiazaran (LFP).

The most important points of agreement, those who have been at the center of the conflict, there have been three. First and foremost is the creation of a new fund to cover unpaid wages to which players are subjected because of the economic collapse of their clubs. The AFE will participate in the fund, contributing a percentage of its own coffers that will be returned by the affected people within four years. So far known as the fund's total budget as the share of the AFE.

Another agreement responds to the creation of a number of safeguards for players whose teams fall class can continue to receive their salary despite the shortfall in revenue that the club will drop by this division. Finally, the third key has been finally the LFP has accepted a non-negotiable demands of for the AFE, the new Convention collect a number of facilities so that a player can unilaterally terminate his contract in a short time when his club take three months without pay. We'll see what happens in the future, but maybe starting next transfer period we find a number of players who can go to the market as free agents after leaving their club by default.

Goldilocks and continue heading Astiazarán meetings will be held in the coming weeks to draft the new agreement which then must be approved by the Higher Sports Council. Both presidents have agreed that sports law is full of loopholes and announced that pose to the Royal Spanish Football Federation the need to solve these problems.

The first game of the season (which had to be played on the weekend before) will go into the weekend of 21 and January 22, dates scheduled for the day was 20, which will be contested around Wednesday May 2. So we can say that the first day of the first round becomes the last of it, while the first date of the second round will be played between the thirty-sixth and thirty days seventh.
