Alejandro Sabella, the new coach of Argentina

Little importance was the announcement of the new coach of Argentina in the midst of the controversy that erupted in soccer in that country by the intention of the AFA (Argentine Football Association) to change the format of the local tournament. However, Alejandro Sabella has been announced as Sergio Batista's successor as head of the albiceleste after the failure of the Copa America.

Left out of the continental tournament in the quarterfinals, playing at home and having won just one game were the causes of the dismissal of Sergio "Chechen" Batista as coach of the Argentinean. Since the AFA does not take too long to find a replacement and that is Alejandro Sabella, a former coach of Estudiantes de La Plata with that team who won the Copa Libertadores 2009 and Apertura 2010.

The news was announced by the president of the AFA, Julio Grondona, who said on television channel C5N dialogue: "I can officially say that Sabella is the new coach of." In addition, Grondona said that is false rumor that he is looking to replace Carlos Bilardo by Gabriel Batistuta as Director of National Teams.
