Spain does not understand surface

The poor condition of the lawn, or rather, what little remains of grass in the stadium and turn Darius Kaunas, monopolized the role of the qualifying match for Euro 2012 between Lithuania and Spain. The poor state of the pitch did not respond to a trap to disrupt the interplay of ours. The first to suffer are the Lithuanians themselves, so sure I'm not the only one these days has heard some have even scratched the lack of respect. Clearly it is shameful that a match of this importance and play in a potato fields, but first you have to demand accountability is to the lords of the UEFA.

Focusing purely on football, Spain has solved the ballot with a good performance. It has not achieved the brilliance of other times because the setting was not suitable. But because they are very good, even in a very poor pitch have so dominated the match and, on occasion, to a beaming combined serve as an example the third goal, signed by Mata.

Spain knew that today would not be a comfortable game. Who played pull that what they call "office" when you bite for every ball divided and fighting with the rival for every inch of the field. And they have demonstrated that they are not drop the rings. They know when they can go out and dazzle, and when the priority is to get the three points. The victory last night by 1-3 leaves of Vicente Del Bosque with full of victories in five matches and qualifying for Euro 2012 on track.

No changes were noted compared to last Friday. In fact, it is appreciated. Placing Fernando Llorente in the center of the front was a success given the characteristics of rival and pitch. His girth gave the option to Spain to seek a more direct game, since a simple low pass sometimes lead to the ball looked like a bouncing ball. It was also noted the power of Javi Martinez in midfield, with his eternal sacrifice, and additions to the attack.

Spain reached the break with a lead of 0-1 thanks to a fortunate goal from Xavi, as his shot hit a defender changing the trajectory of the ball. And soon to start the second part, in one of the few arrivals from Lithuania, Stankevicius, who plays for Valencia, gave a lash from a distance that surprised Casillas.

Del Bosque's pupils away from getting nervous, remained true to their style and Silva on the pitch to replace a Villa that this time played starting from the left wing. The Manchester City left several samples at the time as of which it ordered, and one wonders what reason there so that the coach did not have as one of their first choices. You may like to have a midfielder of a more incisive, as Jesus Navas on Friday. But the truth is that Silva is a player of a class overflowing, and always pays to play the minutes he plays.

Another who took advantage of his opportunity, surely, was Juan Mata. The Valencia star entered the field in the absence of 25 minutes replacing Cazorla, and emerged as the turning of the team. His was the assistance to Llorente at 1-2, which broke Kijanskas sneaking into his own net. His was also the final 1-3, after great support from Silva.
