Germany and Portugal are in the quarterfinals of Euro 2012. The whole Germanic beat Denmark and the Netherlands managed to defeat Luso. Germans pass with perfect score and the Dutch go home without getting points.
Germany is showing their cards to be considered a strong candidate to keep Euro 2012. The group led by Joachim Löw got his third consecutive victory in the tournament by winning 2 to 1 against the Danish. Podolski opened the scoring after 19 minutes, Krohn-Deli tied at 24 and Bender declared a 2 to 1 end for the Germans. Germany is the only team throughout the tournament that reached 9 points in the group stage and there will be another team that can accomplish the same thing: in groups C and D no team won its first two presentations.
In the match between Holland and Portugal, the Dutch opened the scoring at the hands of Rafael Van der Vaart, but lusos asserted their trump card to keep the meeting: at 28 and 73, Cristiano Ronaldo scored to put your selection in the second phase of the Euro.
Germany and Portugal are in the quarter as well as Czech Republic and Greece (the first and second respectively in group A). The Germans will be measured against the champions of 2004 in the next phase (next Friday), while Czech and Portuguese will play each other (the match will be played on Thursday).
