Marius Ebbers, the example to follow

Spain is the country of Lazarillo, the picaresque. Socially is best appreciated as a smartass, a crook, to be honest and honorable. Here who hesitates is lost and if you can take advantage of something and you do not, is that you are stupid. This would be very difficult, very unlikely, that we lived an event similar to that in Germany, during the match between FC St. Pauli with 1. FC Union Berlin, the second division of the Bundesliga.

The St. Pauli, unique equipment where available, is struggling to return to the top flight of German football. This past weekend played a key game against the capital of FC Union Berlin, the rise of Die Freibeuter (The Pirates) involves, among other things, not to give any points at home. With the score tied at one, striker Marius Ebbers topped a center with the hand the ball stayed in the goals. The referee and his assistants ate out and got the goal for good, despite the angry complaints of the visiting players.

But then something amazing, something extraordinary, the plain sense of the term. Ebbers went to college and acknowledged that he had cheated. With the score 1-1 and risking the rise! After the confession of the pirate front, the referee canceled the goal against the big surprise of the Union Berlin players. Stunned everyone, one is given by clapping and other hugging his rival, good old Ebbers. In the end, as if the gods wanted to bless balompédicos Ebbers, the St. Pauli ended up winning the match in 92 minutes.

The St. Pauli lost yesterday with the leader, SpVgg Greuther Furth (2-1). Now leave rooms, one point behind third place that leads to the promotion match. I hope to rise again first. Football needs teams like St. Pauli and heroes as Marius Ebbers.
