Seven strokes of Pinturicchio

Del Piero Juve

Carry carries ten demands: it is the back of the elect, the artist who draws different strokes to raise another category of its football team. If in addition is a number that have worn the same shirt as Boniperti myths, Platini and Roberto Baggio, the task is becoming even epic. Pinturicchio was one of the famous artists of the Quattrocento Renaissance and witnessed one of the most splendid periods of Italy and History of Art. Alessandro Del Piero, like the one who owes his nickname, also helped with his art to one of the most splendid periods of Juventus and the Italian. Nineteen seasons and 700 games later, numerous and relevant titles and countless times, leaving Del Piero Juventus this year, and the best way to review the greatness of his legacy is to capture seven times, seven strokes that you are eternal.

A work of art against Fiorentina (1994)

He was only 20 years, was his second season in Turin and only a promise and apprentice Roberto Baggio, but he guessed strokes and artist. That goal served to win at Fiorentina, one of the great rivals Juventus and in that time playing stars as Batistuta and Rui Costa. A Del Piero came an air ball, a ball again, he became a goal to remember. Without dropping it with a subtle touch with the instep, Germany sent the ball into the nets above the goalkeeper in one of the many most beautiful of his career, if not the oldest. Just had to imagine, his talent did the rest.

The goal that capped Juventus (1996)

Tokyo, 1996. To play the Intercontinental Cup was to be European champions Juventus and Lippi had reigned in the Old Continent after beating Ajax Van Gaal. Del Piero was then set a benchmark in the Bianconeri and ten after the departure of Baggio to Milan. Opposite the American champion, Enzo Francescoli River, and along with Del Piero was already someone who idolized Prince Uruguay: Zinedine Zidane. But Alessandro was the hero of that final with a goal not as bright as marking against Fiorentina, but of paramount importance to him and his club. Del Piero entered the story.

His specialty was worth a Scudetto (2006)

We jumped in time to enter the 2006, which end up in unhappy memories for Juventus but first won the Scudetto on the field so incontestable from the hand of Fabio Capello. Juventus played to his great rival that year, Inter Mancini. Tie one on the scoreboard, ten minutes left and a lack twenty meters from the area. Seconds later, Del Piero had scored a superb free-kick and was mathematically champions Juventus Calcio. The kick is undoubtedly one of the great specialties of Pinturicchio and innumerable are the goals he has scored from the edge of the area. That was worth a link.

His time with the Squadra Azzurra (2006)

Germany World Cup semifinals. Italy play against the hosts in overtime after a goalless draw in regulation time ended, and Del Piero had jumped to 104 per minute Perrotta. Before, Lippi had brought Gilardino and Iaquinta forgetting for a moment of reserves to attack the defense with all Germanic. In a final apotheosis, Grosso was unexpected guest in the 118 to overtake Italy. Two minutes later Cannavaro stole the ball, one of many, went on to Gilardino Totti, he awaited the arrival of Del Piero and masterfully defined Pinturicchio to Lehmann to kill off the shock and certify the ticket to the final in Berlin. Italy would be days after the world champion.

The promotion to Serie A (2007)

sufficient number b

A headline that encompasses many things. Juventus was sentenced by Calciopoli to drop to Serie B, desposeyéndola the title he had won the free-kick from Del Piero. In a star-studded Juventus general stampede was only remained at the club Buffon, Nedved, Camoranesi, Trezeguet and Capitano Del Piero. A gentleman never fails to throw a Lady, and Alessandro helped the squad to take only bianconera a year back to where it belonged and who was later certified that never had to leave. He was also top scorer in Serie B (a year later would be Series A). At the peak, the club had the best Del Piero.

The ovation at the Bernabeu (2008)

Only a few can say they went to the Bernabeu with another shirt that was not the white and to receive the applause of the Madrid Coliseum and Del Piero is one of them. If you only took a year to return to Serie A after just one season was back in the Champions League and face in addition to a major rival Del Piero has had on his career in Europe: Real Madrid. The white team beat Juventus by 0-2 and do so with a performance of his captain, who scored two goals inevitably carrying his signature: a shot from outside the area and, of course, another failure. After the Bernabeu would be replaced and acknowledged his performance with a huge ovation.

His last title with Juventus (2012)

last scudetto

His last moment with the Turin team has been losing the Coppa final against Napoli, but days before had won his last title with the conquest of the Scudetto, as it meant the return of Juventus to the top of the Calcio. This year was no longer a starter, but he could help at tempts to Serie A. The best possible farewell, leaving the club at the top, a player who always appears on the cover of the best players ever of the Old Lady.
