NDF Survey Results: Eligue your 23 in Spain for Euro

Following the publication of the final list of invited by Vicente Del Bosque for Euro, now get to see the results of the survey that I proposed last week and see how they are alike and how different views of our community and the coach national.

The figure of Iker Casillas, current captain and player with the most caps is beyond doubt: 99% of the vote will guarantee (the most votes, with Iniesta and Xavi completing the podium). However, the issue of what should go with two goalkeepers is less clear, as David De Gea, who, as expected, the Euro will not go to the Olympics but has received 41% of the vote. Of those who opt for the red devil keeper, about two-thirds would do without Pepe Reina and a third of Victor Valdes.

There have been three plants that have had almost unanimous support: Gerard Pique, Sergio Ramos, Javi Martinez. The central room chosen by Del Bosque, Raul Albiol, almost exceeds 50%, while Alvaro Dominguez, discarded, was voted by a quarter of you. From this we can conclude that a good part of our community would have dispensed with a central room.

On the right side we have posed a problem that we did not have: Andoni Iraola was injured in the Cup Final which was held on Friday, just 36 hours to give his lita Forest, so most of you ( 69%) and you had selected from your favorites. The right side that arouse more trust is Alvaro Arbeloa, who is close to 80%, while Juanfran, which was finally chosen by the Marquis, has been supported by half plus one. As for the left side, support for Jordi Alba is majority, 87%, while Nacho Monreal was in a poor 37%.

In midfield, our main strength, your shots were very close to that of Del Bosque: Sergio Busquets, Xabi Alonso, Xavi Hernandez, Andres Iniesta and Cesc Fabregas over 90% support in our community. And the sixth most votes, selected by the coach is Santi Cazorla, who remained at 85%.

Of all those overlooked in the final list, there are two young people that Del Bosque left out but with those who, without any room for doubt, account for a future: they are Thiago Alcántara (29%) and Iker Muniain, than 49% is so far not called the most support have you received on your part (leaving out the case of the lower bound Iraola).

In the attack, there are three players amply exceeding the 90% barrier: two of our three Englishmen, David Silva and Juan Mata, and the striker who has scored more goals this year in the league, Fernando Llorente. Unlike the Lion King, whose support is almost unanimous, the case of Fernando Torres has raised more questions, as little more than half have opted for it (59%).

Both Roberto Soldado (69%) and Adrian Lopez (70%), which finally have been invited by Del Bosque, have more confidence in our community that the Chelsea striker and, above all, Alvaro Negredo, who ultimately was the third forward selected by Del Bosque, in our survey did not add even a quarter of the vote. And finally, the coach decided to take two extremes, Jesus Navas and Pedro Rodriguez, whose support in the survey were minority: 44% for the Andalusian and 38% for the canary.

In the section "Others" are always a number less than half a dozen, the names of Ruben Castro, Michu, Alley and others. Above all figure Raul Gonzalez Blanco, with 19 votes, 1.8% of the total. There was also who opted for Butragueño (and Cedrún Alkorta in goal and at the rear), but which certainly takes the cake is that Mark, who was voted himself.
