Evil tongues say in A Coruna, once, many years ago, Juan Carlos Valeron kicked someone. It was one of his cousins and he did not want, while sleeping in the same bed while dreaming upside down to Munich's Olympic goal with three assists, or win the Cup to the Galactic Madrid Santiago Bernabeu himself.
The last time a referee had pulled a card Valeron was the March 6, 2005, in a match against Malaga. Since then there have been almost seven years and more than one hundred twenty games without any other college has had to warn the Wizard of Arguineguin. Until last Saturday.
In the final game of the League Two in which the Deportivo La Coruna won its ninth straight victory by beating Barcelona 2-1 at B, Valeron received a yellow card by mistake! He was the one who had performed the lack but his companion Diego Colotto. El Flaco just complained, first because its nature prevents it, and second, because if the referee had hit Lopez Melero, the card would have been the fifth Colotto to his credit and, therefore, would miss the meeting next weekend in Sabadell.
Faced with such nonsense arbitration herculino the club management had planned an appeal to the Competition Committee of the RFEF for that card to take out the unfair Valeron, but Depor's Twenty is such a nice guy who insisted the technicians and managers of the club to finally do not send any claim to the erroneous warning. This is The Magician.
