Iker Casillas and Xavi Hernandez have been awarded this morning with the Prince of Asturias Award for Sports 2012. The jury, chaired by Arantxa Sanchez-Vicario and composed of various sports personalities and sports journalism, most rewarding jointly decided by the two players of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona and the Spanish national team, winning bid and the other finalist, International Paralympic Committee. The jury considers that these players of Real Madrid and FC Barcelona symbolizing the values of friendship and companionship beyond the maximum rivalry of their respective teams. His sportsmanship is a model for young people.Both, they have achieved the most important titles with clubs and the Spanish, are an example of fair play that is admired by all.
