Palermo choose their top 5 goals

Martin Palermo is living his last match as a professional player. Boca Juniors striker is close to retirement and has reviewed his career recalling that at its discretion have been the best five goals. I leave you so that you can enjoy.

Against River in the Libertadores 2000. After an injury that sidelined him for several months of playing fields, Palermo returned to play against arch-rivals River, nothing less than a quarter-final of Copa Libertadores. In the Bombonera, to its people, the Titan had the luxury to mark the third in the scoring (3 to 0).

Head from half court. In the Apertura 2009, Velez and Boca met in a very tight encounter. The score was 2 to 2 until Palermo did the impossible: score a headed goal from half field.

The goal of the classification to global. In Argentina it took more than necessary to reach South Africa 2010. When there were two parties to end the knockout stage had a chance to play the playoffs (playoffs) or even of being left out. In the penultimate match against Peru in a Monumental stadium where rain was present, Palermo appeared in the final minute to give victory to the agony of your choice would mean the passage to the World.

From half court against Independiente. Missing the final 40 seconds of the match between Independiente and Boca Apertura 2007, Martin scored from 60 meters away.

World Cup goal. Palermo was not a player with great presence in the Argentine national team. First stage had a somewhat loose Bielsa and then returned in sporadic calls until Maradona confirmed as one of the front area alternates. In South Africa 2010 in his only match played had the luxury of scoring against Greece.
