Muamba battle for his life after collapsing on the field

Fabrice Muamba, Bolton Wanderers footballer and England international U21, collapsed on Saturday on the lawn of the White Hart Lane stadium during the match that his team was playing for Tottenham Hotspur. From the outset it was feared the worst, seeing that the television was broadcasting the game the player while avoiding approach was being treated by doctors, focusing on the faces serious, concerned and fearful of the players of both teams and fans in the stands.

Muamba suffered two heart attacks on the lawn, where he was stabilized and transferred minimally to the hospital urgently. As usual in these cases, doctors announced that the first 24 hours were key to the survival of the Zaire-born player. After that period of time, the player remains stable within the critical state in which it is located.

Fabrice Muamba began his professional career in 2005 at the Arsenal FC, in 2006 he was loaned to Birmingham City team that finished clocking the following year. In 2008 went to swell the ranks of Bolton, where he played 130 games. Although born in Zaire (now Democratic Republic of Congo) England international has been in all the lower grades, getting to play more than 30 combined games with the U21.
